Business Development Executive

Details of the position

  • Proven experience as a business development in Market research industry
  • Proven track record of generating new business sales and hitting targets
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Cross industry market knowledge
  • Strong communication, written, verbal and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and react to client needs and problems
  • Ability to build rapport and cultivate influential client relationships
  • Proven track record of generating new business sales and hitting targets
  • Strong collaborator: builds partnerships with clients, prospects and people at
  • all levels across the company. Contributes to team and company success.
  • Strong time management, analytical and planning skills
  • Self-starter, sales “hunter” able to work in a team and autonomously

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s vision, strategic priorities, people, capabilities, content and products.
  • Working closely with Business Development Execs, develop new business opportunities with potential clients, focusing on converting qualified prospects by presenting compelling business propositions and solutions.
  • Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that demonstrate the compelling value proposition , notably our membership and advisory services.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and maintain a robust, targeted deal pipeline to continuously grow the business and generate sales.
  • Research, establish and build influential relationships with client decision makers at management levels.
  • Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and positioning us as a strategic advisor delivering actionable insights and practical business solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Encourage and participate in internal and external client workshops, trials and on-boarding.
  • Attend professional association meetings, promote our product solutions and brand and provide feedback on market trends.
